Shipping Policy for Peter Hutchins Photography
Thank you for ordering from Peter Hutchins Photography. All artwork is produced with professional print partners to ensure the highest possible quality.
This policy explains how your order is processed and delivered.
Order Processing
Most prints are made to order.
Once you place an order, it is sent directly to our production partner for printing, quality checks, and packing.
Processing times vary depending on the product type:

Canvas prints: usually 2 to 5 business days

Fine art prints: usually 2 to 4 business days

Custom editing or commissioned work: timelines provided on request
If your order requires extra verification, colour checks, or special handling, this may extend processing times slightly. You will be notified if this happens.
Production Partner
We currently use Gelato for canvas and framed prints. Your item is produced at the facility closest to your delivery address to reduce carbon impact and delivery times.
As new services become available, we may use additional partners for other product types such as acrylic prints, photo books, and custom editing packages.
Shipping Times
Delivery estimates vary by region:

Australia: 3 to 10 business days

New Zealand: 4 to 12 business days

North America, Europe, and Asia: 5 to 15 business days
These timeframes include production and shipping.
Remote or regional areas may take longer.
Shipping times are provided as estimates only.
Delays caused by carriers, customs, or peak seasons are outside our control, although we will assist where possible.
Tracking
Most orders include tracking. You will receive a tracking number once your print has shipped.
For prints shipped through partners that use regional couriers, tracking availability may vary.
Shipping Costs
Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on product size, weight, and destination.
Some larger prints require oversized packaging which may increase shipping costs.
Incorrect Address
Please ensure your shipping address is accurate.
If an address error results in a failed delivery or return, additional shipping fees may apply to resend the item.
Customs and Import Fees
International orders may be subject to customs duties or taxes.
These charges are the responsibility of the customer.
Lost or Missing Deliveries
If your order is marked as delivered but you cannot locate it:

Check with neighbours and building management

Check safe drop locations

Contact the carrier with your tracking details
If the parcel is confirmed lost, we will organise a replacement.
Damaged Deliveries
If your print arrives damaged, notify us within 7 days of delivery with:

Photos of the damage

Your order number

A short description of the issue
We will arrange a replacement at no cost.
